Sinus infection is a circumstance wherein the cavities across the nasal passages turn out to be inflamed. It  can arise due to wake of a chilly or hypersensitive reactions.Medicinal drugs may be in need when symptoms of sinusitis are excessive or do  not improve.Here are some home made  remedies for limiting a sinus infection.


Garlic for bacterial infection.Put water in a pot and boil it for few minutes after it starts boiling,then add crushed garlic cloves into it.

Turn off the heat and cover it with a towel . Now inhale the steam which gives instant relief from the sinus by thinning the mucus.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar helps to clear a stuffy nose.Take apple cider vinegar and honey,

 Mix it well in a cup of warm water and drink the  Solution 2 to 3 times a day to get rid of the sinus infection. 
Take some fenugreeks, pour it in a glass of water and mix it well. Later boil it for few minutes and drink this.

Lemon Balm

Take few dried lemon balm leaves and boil these leaves in water for about 10 minutes.

Sieve the mixture and use   it as gargle .Take this mixture twice a day to get relief from pain.

Turmeric Powder

Turmeric powder can heal a sinus infection,clears airways.Use turmeric in as many way as possible.

You can include it in your diet by adding it while cooking food .

Regular usage of turmeric will help to get rid of the sinus infection.

Eucalyptus Oil 
Pour a drop or two of eucaly oil in a fresh handkerchief

Try to inhale its perfume regularly to get relief , you can also use eucalyptus oil on
 pillows where you sleep so that it will help while you sleep. 
Onion acts as an antibacterial substance.Pour this onion pieces into a pot of boiling water for about 5 minutes. 

Inhale it for few minutes to get relief from the clogged nose and sinus infection.

Tomato helps to repair the mucus membranes.Boil tomato juice by pouring it in a saucepan.Boil it for few minutes.

Drink this homemade tomato juice at least twice in a day to get rid of the sinus problem.


Take a ginger and cut it into thin slices Stir it in hot water for 10
minutes. Strain it and use it as tea.
