Relation between body, mind and soul

The soul or the self is ultimately responsible for giving the body its life force. In indirect ways, it guides and leads our behavior and actions in the physical form. When the soul selects to leave the physical body, the body dies. The soul is energetic by the qualities like desire, hatred, comfort, misery, intelligence and effort. The mind is the interactive mechanism between the body and the soul. The mind records and filters emotions and registers nerve impulses generated by the body. The communication between the body and the mind and the communication between the mind and the soul are important in the formation of knowledge.

The mind is able to block the sensation or to listen to it. If the mind is smart, it listens. Though the mind is having its own actions, its qualities and actions are determined by the qualities of soul. The qualities of soul are decided by karma, the spiritual practices, good and bad deeds. The functions of mind are thinking, analyzing, elaborating, guessing, perceiving, assuming, gaining knowledge, conduction of information, gained from sense organs to soul, determination, dedication, doubt and uncertainty.

The body is the outer most shell. A well-kept body is essential for the healthy functioning of the mind and the soul.
The body, mind and soul work as a system of energy. The union of our body, mind and soul is essential to keep the flow of life energy within us. This energy flow can be abundant or restricted depending on our ‘state of being’ in each second and it swing always. The ‘state of being’ is the general feeling of health and wellness. It means how balanced we feel on all levels of our being.
If the alignment of the body, mind and the soul is proper we can,

*    Experience joy in everything we do.
*    Treat others with love and admiration.
*    Treat ourselves and our bodies with affection and respect.
